Family Literacy Day Weekly Story Contest

A great activity for students is the Family Literacy Day Weekly Story contest, where adults can write a story with their children for a chance to be featured on the Family Literacy Day website. Your class can start the writing process together, everyone creates the beginning of the story, and then encourage them to finish it at home with their kids. When they return with their stories you can see how the same introduction led to many creative endings. We welcome you to help your students also submit them online at abclifeliteracy.ca/fld/story/.
