Get Set Learn: Everything You Need to Run a Family Literacy Program

Resources | Posted: December 7, 2011

The “Get Set Learn: Everything You Need to Run a Family Literacy Program” by Project Read features three curricula (one each for adults, preschoolers and school aged children), which have articulated outcomes to help families learn and grow together for lifelong learning. All activities have been articulated to the Essential Skills domains and levels. This program provides an effective approach for literacy and community agencies to help adults increase their skills and knowledge within the context of being their “child’s first teacher”. This project was funded by the Office of Literacy and Essential Skills, HRSDC.
