Co-op positions available for community sector groups
A pilot program at Memorial University is connecting community sector organizations with students in Memorial's co-operative education program. Advancing Non-Profit and Voluntary Investments in Learning (ANVIL) has already placed students with non-profits around the province, but would like to place more!
With the support of HRLE"s Youth Retention and Attraction Strategy, these are funded positions. ANVIL will pay 67% of the wages (up to a maximum contribution of $10/hr). This is a great opportunity to bring in talented, energetic students to your organization.
Students from the Computer Industry Internship Option, Business, Economics, Engineering, Kinesiology, Recreation, Applied Social Psychology, and Folklore will will soon be looking for placements for the January-April term. Now is the time for your organization to apply!
