- Members can borrow books, DVDs and other materials. Visit www.nlpl.ca to search the library catalogue. If a book you are looking for is not available at your local library, a free interlibrary loan service will get the book from another library.
- Most libraries offer free internet and computer access. E-books, tumblebooks, and electronic encyclopedias can be accessed online. 2000 titles on adult learning are available by interlibrary loan through the NLPL’s Literacy Clearinghouse.
- Public Libraries also offer a wide variety of adult and family programming throughout the year. These include Newfoundland author readings, creative writing sessions, computer classes, story time, summer reading, music, crafts and more.
