Telework gaining traction - Many jobs can easily be done remotely

A concept of work that has struggled to find its way into mainstream offices around the world may finally be coming into its own. Even the term itself may be outdating itself.

Telework, telecommuting or remote work, has evolved to incorporate every mode of technology at an employee's disposal and, whether most bosses realize it or not, a lot of employees already do it on a regular basis, according to Robyn Bews, the program manager of WORKshift at Calgary Economic Development.
