HELP
  1. About the Map

The Interactive Map has various controls to allow you to zoom and pan (move across) the map in order to find sites within a specific area. In the image below, various controls and areas of interest are highlighted in green.

    • Navagation Controls - Allows you to Zoom In, Zoom Out or Pan Left/Right/Up/Down by clicking on the appropriate control
    • Quick Pan Area - Allows to quickly move the visible area of the map by dragging the blue box to the area of interest. This is highly useful when the map is zoomed in.
    • Site Markers - Red markers that highlight show where a site(s) are located. Clicking on these red markers will show specific details regarding that specific location
    • Dense Population of Sites - This is an example of where many sites on the map are located in one area. It may be more useful to zoom into this particular area, as site markers can be hidden beneath other markers.
  2. Using the Map

The Navigation Controls on the upper-left hand side of the map, will allow you to zoom and pan the map. The arrows will pan to the direction specified by the arrow. The + (zoom in) and - (zoom out) buttons will allow you to zoom in or out. Note: When zooming in or out, the center of the map will always stay the same, so it's advisable that you move the area you're interested in roughly in the center of the map, using the pan controls (either via the navagation controls or other specifed below), then zoom and little, and then reposition the center.
The Quick Pan Control on the bottom right side also allows you to pan. The blue square represents the area that is shown in the map. This is useful when you are zoomed in close and would like to move across the map quickly
You can also pan by holding down on your left mouse button (your cursor will change as seen on the right), while dragging the map.
