will hold a Free Workshop on
Literacy Sensitivity in the Community


When: March 28 & 29, 2008
Friday 5:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Boardroom of Kindale Public Library
45 Carolina Avenue, Stephenville, NL

Please note: Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis

This workshop is open to residents of the Bay St. George and surrounding area who have an interest in literacy. Training is included at the end of the workshop for those who want to become certified Laubach Literacy tutors.

Bay St. George Literacy Council, Inc. is a volunteer organization which offers free tutoring to adults 18 years of age and older. Our programs include basic reading and writing, preparation for GED, assistance for students in ABE programs, and ESL (English as a Second Language).
