There are many ways that you can get involved and help to advance literacy in our province.  Here are a few ideas:

• Become a volunteer!  There are many kinds of volunteers needed in the field of literacy.  We can help you find a volunteer opportunity in your part of the province that matches your skills and interests.  Contact us for more information.
  
  
• Join Literacy NL!  Becoming a member of our provincial literacy network means that you get regular updates and information on literacy issues, invitations to participate in literacy events, and opportunity to have your say on what we are doing to advance literacy in NL. Membership is free to anyone with an interest in supporting community-based literacy programs.  Contact us for details.
  
  
• Make a financial contribution!  Financial support from you or your company will go a long way in helping us to connect learners to community-based programs in our province.  Please contact us to discuss sponsorship opportunities for specific events or as an ongoing partner.
  
  
• Be aware and be a voice for literacy!  Literacy is a key issue that has impacts on every part of our society.  In your role as employee, volunteer or community member be an advocate for the many people in our province who struggle daily with reading, writing and numeracy.
